Awesome video:D
You have a nice day too!
I got this set, I kinda like it
I think there is misspelling, bricklink says it's 71427, not 74127
You're right. Fixed!
Is there a way to prevent cracking the magnet?
Not that I know of :(
Any instruction for this? We had 2 of these in Sweden. One brown and one orange, they where a bit modefied for Sweden with wider walking paths on the sides. I think they are still left. I got one of these as a small kid, so it is my favorit Swedish train 😁
Hey, see here: reb.li/m/181527
Fantastic 😃
All my models using mould king power module, but I also adding powerfunction remote to it.
Is not BR CLASS 8 is BR CLASS 08
Im going to try and get that mould king train locomotive that has the wireless rc train motor so i can run my Thomas train outside on our layout
Woooooow 😯 ok make a video on how to make this
I would love to have that Lego set
Edit how much is it
$100 on Shop at Home, but I'm seeing as low as $80 on Amazon.
Is it compatible with the brick controller 2 app?
No.
It will be in the future maybe?
Currently not but there is open issue to implement it and some work has been done on it.
have you looked into an awesome alternative motor for the Glaskasten too? I found a fantastic bluetooth controlled motor by a Chinese maker that is just amazing
Hold up is that SY a moc or real set
It's my own design: ua-cam.com/video/ZluhWfestdk/v-deo.html You can buy instructions on our Rebrickable: reb.li/m/159600
@@NonsenseWars COOL
Mould king has another remote that can control speed. This remote usually comes with 6.0 intelligent module, and it is fully compatible with 4.0 module.
Link?
I'm guessing it's this: www.amazon.com/Mould-King-Powered-Function-Rechargeable/dp/B09L8K1JT4/ref=asc_df_B09L8K1JT4/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=692875362841&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8474920421823737456&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031912&hvtargid=pla-2281435178098&psc=1&mcid=9ab1344e2b283ccc9b7744baada2321c&hvocijid=8474920421823737456-B09L8K1JT4-&hvexpln=73&gad_source=1 I kind of assumed they weren't compatible, but upon closer inspection I'm thinking 4.0 and 6.0 don't refer to versions, but the number of ports lol
Sad that the remote doesn't allow for speed control. I would love a 3rd party battery box/remote combo that did that, without the use of a PF receiver. I vastly prefer using a remote over my phone.
PU system + Pybricks + Xbox controller is the way to go
Pybricks is great but it would be nice to have a cheaper alternative to PU.
@@Mpersand914 I see, but so far all 3rd party solutions don't have half as many features PU has.
They sell one with speed control. It’s almost identical to this and also goes by 4.0 and 6.0 names. The battery for the 6.0 is a bit bigger than the 4.0.
Parts list and how to build it please and thank you
8:39 I think you had to connect a petrol station to the road to get cars
Ohhh, interesting. Now that you say it, I do kinda remember seeing cars when I was a kid; that must have been it!
Would have it been cool to see one cosmetically restored
There was probably no hope considering how fast they were scrapped lol
@@NonsenseWars At least they tried making them into something special
@@NonsenseWars Chessie really tried their luck with the M1
Yoooo
I have this set, I love it so much but I wish the wheels were rubber
Hold up it’s the Lego police that right there is an illegal building technique. I’m sorry, but you’re under arrest.
WOW! This looks awesome
What’s the magnet on the complete bogey near the end of the video?
This one? www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=73092#T=C
How cool tank engine
I like this train, very well done. I had similar problems when coupling. But I did find out by using Neodymium Fridge Magnets, very strong, used in between the magnetic couplers. I power my trains using Buwizz. Best of luck mate!
Ah, the problem isn't with the strength of the coupler; the problem is that there's no room to put magnets.
@@NonsenseWars oh! Maybe looked at your video cross-eyed 🤪 I wouldn’t mind making one of those myself. The seat scaling is similar to the Concorde Lego set to.
This is sigma 😂
ded. Not big surprise.
i love ur all locomotives
Sharrrrkkk nooossseeee
Coool
Awsome model
Any way to skip the tutorials / beginning jedi stages in the program?
Try the trick at 2:55. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure.
@@NonsenseWarsyup, i found it in the manual. Thanks!
what is this? my comment is gone? again?!? this is not the first time that happened either! I was going to state that my favorite here, though not on the list sadly, is the Glaskasten. a locomotive I've been very fond of all my life and I have seen MOCs of that one a-plenty over the years and you all had great ideas, and I tried to build the ultimate Glaskästen in recent times and intend to make a video about that soon too! found a great motor that works perfectly for that one. also, since you replied in a previous video about germany, are you still planning on visiting germany this coming month at all? would be nice to engage with other enthusiasts anyway. and hopefully you'll stick around till august 9-11th because thats when we have the BSBT in Schkeudiitz. the largest annual meet up of custom built lego train collectors in Europe! if you want to check out my railroad themed art and MOCs in the future, check out instagram at jthaddeoustoad, also its better to write DMs for me than UA-cam. that used to be. better over 10 years ago but can't contact other UA-camrs the way we used to in the good old days :(
I'm in Berlin between the 4th and the 13th. Are there any LEGO events going on around there during that time?
@@NonsenseWars None that I'm aware of, but you're welcome to socialize if you like :D
your exactly like the train version of bigplanes, these are dope
Time to rename the channel Big Trains, got it XD
@@NonsenseWars facts but fr these are super cool
These look great! How do you keep them so shiny? Mine are very dusty so fast..
Actually I just store most of them in drawers lol. If I left them out on shelves they would definitely get dusty as well... I don't have a good solution for it sadly.
Illegal building technic detected🚨🚨
man ive always wanted that set but its to rare and to much money thrse days :(
Looking back at my records it would appear that I paid $190 for it in 2017, most likely from eBay. I think the deals are still out there; you just have to find them!
these are realy cool how did you make them? i would love to buy them lol!
Actually, we sell instructions for most of the trains featured on the channel on our Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/users/NonsenseWars/. If you actually want to buy a physical something email the channel or DM me on social media and maybe we can work something out.
What about the franco-crosti quadruplex ?
Ah that was 4barlinkage's. It was taken apart a long time ago, like before Covid long time ago lol
You should make the UP 9000 class😊😊😊😊❤❤
Maybe you should try powered caboose for small locomotives?
Nah, the challenge is to make them self-powered. Otherwise you could have something really small like a "powered" hi-rail pulling a car or something.
Congrats on 4K!
Thank you!
@@NonsenseWars no problem!
Congrats on 4K!
They look great. You should build the polar express or pere Marquette 1225.i have one, just like to see who you would build it. Cant wait to watch more.😁👍
I'm glad we can all agree how cool all of these are. U would buy these if they were official
They are all probably too fragile to be official sets lol XD
I’ve personally discovered how difficult designing lego locomotives is and you’ve got some great models there. Let’s hope my shay turns out even half as good as yours
Shays are really tough. If I ever do one - and I've thought about it - I would do a large scale like 1:35 in order to get all the mechanical bits "correct".
@@NonsenseWars I don’t know what scale I’m actually building in, just that it’s in the realm of minifig scale. Thankfully, there’s an extraordinary amount of variety in shays so I can kinda make it look how I want
Please don't take apart the CF7! I really really like it!
Same!!
Hi do you think it is still worth to buy it today?
I don't think I would buy it at MSRP unless I had a specific use for it, but a friend of ours bought one real cheap at the train show a few months ago, and we had a blast running it there.
@@NonsenseWars thank you for your input. May I know whether the sound effect still ok after one year? I heard people said the sound effect is gone after a while, is it true, thanks in advance
